Kings College - Cambridge

We were asked by our Client to provide and install storage facilities on site. The only way of delivering the units was by passing through a Norman Arch. Due to the size of the vehicles required to carry the storage units, they were unable to pass through the arch and narrow lanes. An alternative method for the delivery of the equipment had to be found in order to fulfil our client’s request.

We utilised specially designed heavy metal trolleys to manually manoeuvre the units through the streets. This was also the case when taking them through the Norman Arch, which allowed only a space of approximately 30mm either side of the units!
