Job Title: Service Engineer (Mobile and Depot based)
Department: Fleet Operations
Reports to Fleet Operations Manager
The role of Depot and Mobile Service Engineer will involve repairs, maintenance and servicing of Oasis welfare units, both in our Advanté depots (currently located in Basildon, Bristol and Loughborough) and on Client sites across the UK with a ‘first-time-fix’ ethos. This will require travelling to depots and sites, dealing with Site Managers and client representatives as well as close liaison with our Client Operations department, other engineers, the Fleet Operations Manager, Chief Engineer and/or other depot/yard staff when conducting the work required on these units.
The role will require key skills, e.g. experience of working on small generators is required along with a Gas Safe certification. The role will be based at various locations of work, on client sites and/or depots as dictated by the business needs. The role will require nights out when necessary.
The role will be expected to work safely and in accordance with Advanté Health & Safety policy, RAMS and safe systems of work. The role will also be expected to follow the Company’s Integrated Management System.

Either CCLP1 (LPG Core Safety) or CCN1 (Domestic Gas Core Safety) qualified.
A Gas Safe registration must be maintained, Advanté will pay associated costs as necessary.
There will be times when you may be required to undertake additional tasks, duties and responsibilities within your capabilities. The Company reserves the right to vary your tasks, duties and responsibilities at any time and from time to time according to the needs of the Company’s business. However, you will not be assigned to duties or required to perform services that you cannot reasonably perform, or which are outside the range of your normal skills and experience.
There will also be times when you may be asked to transfer, either temporarily or permanently, to an alternative job within the Company. Where this is agreed with you, either on a temporary or a permanent basis, it will be confirmed to you in writing.
