We delivered Oasis EcoLogic Solar welfare units to Wates Construction on their net zero building site at Hartshill School in Nuneaton...
Hartshill School in Nuneaton is one of just 50 schools across the country to be chosen by the government’s rebuilding programme and is following a net zero build plan. Wates Construction are the contractor for the project and came to Advanté to hire EcoLogic Solar welfare units for the start of works.
The construction of the new school is taking place on the existing site and it is vital that school life remains uninterrupted during the redevelopment. Low environmental impact, health and safety, and considerate welfare are all essential.
EcoLogic Solar Oasis units run on Solar/LPG Hybrid technology resulting in carbon, noise and fuel cost reductions on site. Already, after the first month, the units are proving their credentials by delivering silent, 100% carbon-free electrical power for the team’s welfare.
Silent Running – Great for Site, School and Residents
On site is an EcoLogic Solar 1400 – providing canteen, drying room and toilet facilities; and an EcoLogic Solar 1700 – providing a full site office with additional drying room and toilet facilities. Each unit has inbuilt telemetry which allows remote monitoring by the Advanté service team, and provides essential data for power consumption and renewable energy generation.

The EcoLogic Solar units will be on site until the summer 2022 when the team will move into their standard site accommodation for the rest of the build programme.
The Oasis EcoLogic Solar range are completely self-contained, static welfare units each with a drying room and two toilets that will provide instant start welfare facilities for up to 25 staff.
EcoLogic 1400 Solar provides a large canteen area.
EcoLogic 1700 Solar provides an office area for 3 people.
A split canteen/office option is also available (EcoLogic 1750 Solar).
