Ahead of our time

The number of women working in construction is growing…

However, the construction industry remains predominantly male. The industry is changing though and as at December 2015, 19.9% of all employed directly in construction are female. This is the highest statistic recorded in the last 20 years (Schouten, 2016). At Advanté, we are very pleased that we are nearly twice the national average with 36.7% directly employed female employees and our target of 50/50 across our business has already been achieved for our Board of Directors.
