Committed to Reducing Emissions and Improving Air Quality

Achieving Gold Signatory Status

We are delighted to share that we’ve been awarded GOLD Plant Charter Signatory badge from the Supply Chain Sustainability School.

The Bronze, Silver and Gold badges are awarded to companies who work across the value chain and commit to improving air quality and reducing greenhouse emissions. We provided the School with a dossier of information that shows our commitment to reducing emissions in the following categories:
Minimum Standards – the tailpipe emissions of equipment that are rented or has been bought,
Engagement – to actively participate with suppliers and contractors in lowering emissions equipment through events, case studies,
Training & Education – providing knowledge by raising awareness through education, training and upskilling all staff to achieve the School’s aims.
Innovation – to investigate, trial and implement new technologies that will help our clients achieve zero emissions on site.

Advanté – Oasis Welfare MD, Mandy Messenger explains…

“Offering sustainable solutions has been at the heart of Advanté for 25 years. The Supply Chain Sustainability School’s Plant Charter is a great way to externally, and independently verify our commitment to sustainable product offerings and investment. Achieving Gold Status (with maximum points!) gives our customers and other stakeholders peace of mind they can trust we do what we say we do.”

Working In Great Company

The Plant Charter is an outward declaration that organisations are serious about taking action to reduce air quality impacts and carbon emissions.

It started from the declaration of climate emergency; it’s estimated that all Plants used in the UK, from hand tools all the way up to 30 tonne excavators, via welfare cabins and generators account for 2% of the UK’s total greenhouse gas emissions.

Alongside 11 other companies, we’ve signed the Plant Commitment Charter! We’ve pledged to implement 5 key commitments within our business including Innovation, Engagement and Training & Education.

Signing the Plant Charter is free and voluntary. You can find out more from the Supply Chain Sustainability School
