From Regionals to Nationals
Following our recent Innovation Award success at the regional Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards 2019, we are now finalists in the CE National 2019 Awards as well.
We are extremely proud of our award-winning Oasis PowerStation, the solution to a cable-free construction site.
Advanté developed this innovative solution to support Willmott Dixon’s cable-free initiative, which has proven successful in significantly reducing trip hazards on site. However, the use of battery powered tools brought some challenges, including management of charging points, increasing PAT testing costs and risk of theft.
Advanté engaged with Willmott Dixon and Milwaukee Tools to develop a safe environment for charging multiple tool batteries and electrical equipment, inside a relatively small and secure anti-vandal unit.
The CE National Awards will be held on Friday 8th November and the winners will be announced in front of over 500 built environment professionals from across the UK.
