International Green Apple Awards for Vision Solar

The International Green Apple Environment Awards

Advanté has won two International Green Apple Environment Awards in the campaign to find the greenest companies.

We competed against more than 800 other nominations in the International Green Apple Awards, and we were presented with our trophies and certificates at a glittering presentation ceremony in the Houses of Parliament, London, on November 20.

As a result of this International Green Apple Award success, we have been invited to accept Green World Ambassador status and have our winning paper published in The Green Book (the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice) so that others around the world can learn from everyone’s achievements.

The judges said of their project – VISION SOLAR –

“Advanté launched The Vision Solar project in May 2023 with the aim of revolutionising toilets for construction sites with solar-hybrid powered toilet blocks. Since then, they have successfully reduced carbon emissions with an impressive 98.7% carbon-free power usage through solar energy and telemetry.”

Advanté will represent the UK in the Green World Environment Awards that are held in a different country every year.

The Green Apple Awards are run by The Green Organisation – an international, independent, non-profit, non-political environment group that began in 1994 to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.
