What is your role at Advanté? Service Engineer

How long have you worked at Advanté?  I’ve worked at Advanté for 6 Years

What do you enjoy most about your job?  I enjoy meeting people. I also enjoy the variety of my job – one site could require a set of taps or a new lock for a door, and it can be anywhere from Canterbury to Cambridge and further.

What’s your favourite holiday destination?  My favourite holiday destination is New York. Later this year, I’ll be going there to get married to my fiancée on top of the Rockefeller Centre.

What is your favourite hobby?  My favourite hobby is visiting cities all over the world, stuffing my face with great food, live comedy and reading books.

Do you have any pets?  Yes.

If yes, what type of animal?  I have one cat – Rebel is her name. I say she’s my cat, but my partner got Rebel before I moved in with her.

What’s the best piece of advice anyone has given you?  The best piece of advice I’ve been given is “Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today”. This is taken from the book “12 Rules for Life” by Jordan Peterson.

Charity Fundraising – More about Joe and how you can get involved

Joe is a keen sportsman and fundraiser, having run the Landmarks Half Marathon in 2021 for Tommy’s charity. This year, Joe has signed up to join thousands of others who will be doing 100 push-ups each day in July to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
