Our Continued Collaboration with Essex Young Farmers

Over the years, we’ve been supplying welfare units to the EYF Show, and this year, we delivered two EcoLogic 1700 welfare units, each serving a unique purpose. One unit was used as an open-plan office space, offering a comfortable and functional layout, while the other unit served mainly as a canteen area, catering to the needs of volunteers and participants throughout the show.

About the EYF Show

The EYF Show, held on Sunday, May 19th at Boyton Hall, is organised by volunteers and members (aged 16-28) of the Essex Young Farmers, a registered charity promoting agriculture and rural life. This annual event, which has been running for over 30 years, attracts around 17 to 18 thousand visitors. It consists of trade stands, stunt horses, motorbikes, games rings, an equine horse ring, and much more, showcasing various areas of the farming industry.

Positive Feedback and Versatility

We were delighted to receive positive feedback from the organisers, who found our units to be flexible and well-suited to their needs. Beyond the practical support provided by our welfare units, we take pride in supporting charities like EYF, which play a crucial role in driving innovation in industries and building a sense of community.

The Flexibility of Our Welfare Units

What truly sets our welfare units apart is their versatility, low emissions, and low noise technology. Our EcoLogic 1700 unit is a completely self-contained, static unit with a large office space, a drying room, and two toilets that can provide instant start welfare facilities for up to 25 staff. Enhanced with hybrid technology, solar panels, LED lighting, double glazed windows, insulation, and water-saving taps, these features significantly improve energy efficiency, resulting in reduced CO₂ emissions and largely silent welfare units.

Our welfare units are designed with flexibility in mind. Whether you need a comfortable office space, a canteen for event participants, or additional facilities for any other purpose, our units can be easily adapted to meet various requirements. The ability to quickly set up and reconfigure these units ensures they can be used in a wide range of settings, making them ideal for events like the EYF Show.

Low Noise Hybrid Technology

One of the standout features of our EcoLogic 1700 welfare units is their low noise hybrid technology. This technology integrates solar panels and a battery storage system, which reduces the need for noisy generators. As a result, the units operate almost silently, creating a more pleasant environment for users. The low noise levels are particularly beneficial for events where a quiet atmosphere is essential, such as during presentations or in areas where animals are present.

Moreover, the hybrid technology not only contributes to a quieter environment but also enhances the sustainability of our units. Combining a hybrid power system with renewable energy, our welfare units minimise their carbon footprint, aligning with our commitment sustainable site welfare.

Comprehensive Facilities

Each 32ft EcoLogic welfare unit provides two separate toilet cubicles for everyone on-site, as well as a 24/7 drying and changing room. The curfew system in each unit also ensures the drying room operates silently overnight, maintaining a quiet and restful environment for anyone neighbouring the site. This feature ensures the units are functioning without disturbing the surroundings.

While we’re well known for supplying welfare units for construction projects, we also collaborate with clients across a diverse range of industries, including event organisers and shows, to ensure swift setup and operations.
