Volunteering Day: Advanté Returns to Fair Havens

Volunteering at Fair Havens Hospice

All staff at Advanté are offered a Volunteering Day every year. Last week, this AdvanTEAM spent a day volunteering at Fair Havens in Southend, Essex.

Fair Havens is part of Havens Hospices who provide outstanding care and support to children and adults living with incurable conditions in Southend, Castle Point and Rochford. They provide free services that are available to people from the day of diagnosis and throughout their life’s journey.

The team spent their day tidying up various areas around the main buildings and car park. This included lots of weeding, clearing, cutting back plants, and many trips back and forth to the compost heap. Everyone worked hard to make the space more enjoyable for the residents and visitors at Fair Havens.
